Wedding Venue in Seacoast, New Hampshire
MILA by The White Apron turns a Exeter farmhouse into your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, all under one roof and one kitchen. One event, one date, one team, entirely yours.
Guests, seated to cocktail-style
Booked per date, no shared spaces
Exeter, NH 03833
A restaurant-run venue in the heart of the Seacoast
Exeter sits at the center of the New Hampshire Seacoast region. Portsmouth is twenty minutes north, Hampton Beach is fifteen minutes east, Newburyport, Massachusetts is twenty minutes south, and Boston Logan Airport is under an hour away via I-95. Out-of-town guests land close to hotels, restaurants, and things to do, which makes MILA a natural home base for a full wedding weekend. MILA gives couples a single address for the whole day, a ceremony spot, a cocktail lounge, a dining room, and a covered terrace with a fireplace, without moving between vendors or venues.
The White Apron's kitchen runs the entire event. There is no outside caterer to coordinate and no rented kitchen equipment to track down. The same team that plates your entrée sets your tables, pours your wine, and clears your glassware, all in-house.
Because MILA holds one wedding per date, your event has full use of the building. No other party shares the lounge, the terrace, or the kitchen staff on your day.

Every proposal includes exclusive use of the spaces below.

A warm arrival room for guests during ceremony setup or cocktail hour, furnished and ready for mingling before the reception opens.

Seventy-five feet of open dining space, dressed with house linens, china, glassware, and silverware for a full plated, buffet, or family-style dinner.

A covered outdoor terrace running the length of the dining room, anchored by an open fireplace, suited to a lit-up cocktail hour or a late-night wind-down. Seats up to 200 guests cocktail-style.

Additional paved outdoor space bordering the terrace, ideal for overflow seating or a quieter corner away from the dance floor.

A bright, airy space to get ready in, with three professional beauty stations and a comfortable lounge, steps from the ceremony spot and included in the venue fee.

An outdoor ceremony option with a decorative stone wall and candlelight accents. The fee covers chairs, setup, and the full breakdown and flip of the space back to reception.
More than a room for the night
MILA is The White Apron's dedicated event home, backed by more than twenty years
of Seacoast catering experience. A few things that come with every booking.
"AMAZING! Every single detail was taken care of, and we had the most carefree day. Not one plate was left with any leftovers." Couples and guests rate MILA a perfect 5.0 stars on WeddingWire, most often praising the food, the staff, and feeling taken care of.
Every couple sits down for a private tasting at The White Apron kitchen ahead of the big day, a broad sample of the menu so there's no guesswork about seasoning or presentation when it counts.
Events run every day of the week, in every season. The covered terrace and fireplace make fall and winter dates just as viable as a summer weekend.
MILA is short for Milagros, Spanish for "miracles," and honors owner Liz Curcio's grandmother, who ran a beloved bakery for over fifty years. That same warmth carries through the venue today.
MILA is proud to host LGBTQ+ celebrations and works with every couple and family to build the day they envision.

What a wedding at MILA costs
Pricing has two parts: a venue fee for the space, and a food and beverage minimum that your
catering spend needs to clear. Plated, buffet, and family-style dinners are priced the same.
Set by guest count and how much of the space you use. Covers setup and cleaning.
Food and beverage spend required for a Saturday date, separate from the venue fee.
The lower minimum for a Friday or Sunday wedding, same inclusions as a Saturday.
From proposal to final payment
Weddings at MILA are typically booked a year or more out, so the schedule below is built
for couples still finalizing their guest list and menu.
A proposal automatically places a complimentary soft hold on your date and gives you right of first refusal. If another couple wants the same date, you get 48 hours to decide before it opens back up.
A signed contract and deposit are the only way to officially secure the date. Booking six months or more out requires 25% down; five months or less requires 50%; under a month requires payment in full.
Menu changes are welcome right up until two months before the event, when the final menu and any related pricing adjustments are due.
Your guaranteed guest count is due two weeks out. You can raise it after contracting, but the number you sign for is the floor, so it pays to guarantee 10 to 15% under your expected maximum.
The balance is due one week before your event, paid by check.
